With the new works designed by local Newcastle based firm, EJE Architects, Skelcon were able to maintain the original design concept and meet the clients budget, while managing some design changes during construction, through open and ongoing client communication. Achieving authenticity of such a specific and typically aged style, is not an easy feat to achieve, yet the end result constructed by Skelcon accomplished this design and brief meticulously.
The 22 week construction program was well managed with the cellar door being completed to a high quality standard and opening shortly after handover. A happy client and happier clientele are now able to experience the delicious wine grown onsite with an even bigger touch of Tuscany in the new cellar door.
